An advertising campaign has been launched against Cell C Sandton City, saying it refuses to assist its customers
A new outdoor advertising campaign was recently launched, with the message: “The most useless service provider in SA – Cell C Sandton City” displayed on a large banner.
The banner was placed on the fence of a large shopping centre and names the franchise manager – saying that his “unnamed executive head refuses to assist the customer”.
Google Streetview identifies the location of the banner as World Wear shopping centre on Beyers Naude drive, close to the N1.
Many people commented on the banner on social media, which included: “CellC can you feel the burn #badservice #loveit”, and “CellC – one of your customers thinks you are not so #EPIC right now”.
“We can confirm that there is a dispute between Cell C and the customer responsible for the banner and we are attempting to resolve the matter,” Cell C said.
